Baramulla sports fest concludes : Police | KNO

The final matches of Football and Kabbadi of Baramulla Sports festival organized by J&K Police under Civic Action Programme were played at Showkat Ali Stadium Baramulla. In football 20 teams while in Kabbadi 10 teams from different parts of Baramulla district participated. The final match of Football was played between SW Ushkara and Sober United Baramulla which was won by SW Ushkara by 2-0 and the Kabbadi match was played between Coaching Centre Baramulla and Ushkara Kabbadi Club which was won by Coaching Centre Baramulla with the margin of 4 points. SSP Baramulla, Shri Imtiyaz Hussain distributed the prizes among the participating teams and cash prizes among the winner and runner up teams. While speaking on the occasion, SSP Baramulla during his speech impressed upon the participants to participate in sports activities and remain away from menace of drugs and violence. It is pertinent to mention here that Baramulla Police has also organized a District Level Volley Ball tournament under Civic Action Programme in all the sub division of Baramulla.
